Abby Baker
Abby Baker is the Recruiting Operations Manager for Medicus Staffing. Abby has 10+ years of experience in sales and recruiting. Abby handles territories nationwide with a focus on the mid-Atlantic states. Abby has a well-developed client and candidate base in Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina & South Carolina. Abby earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to joining the Medicus team, Abby’s past professional experience has been in the fields of Brand Development Management, Sales, Talent Acquisition and Retention. Lori Smith
Lori Smith is the Senior Recruiter for Medicus Staffing. Lori has over fifteen years of insurance and business experience. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance from Virginia Commonwealth University, Lori went to work in the private insurance field for several years. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Lori then created and owned her own business for seven years. Upon joining the Medicus Staffing Team, Lori has a focus and specialization in candidate placement and development in the Mid-Atlantic Region, with a strong concentration on Virginia & North Carolina. Steve Barley
Steve, a licensed CPA in Virginia, started his career with 10 years in accounting and audit with Big 4 and Fortune 500 firms. He has since been involved in the founding and start-up of a dozen staffing firms, including Lawyer’s Staffing in 1997. Steve has been involved in the successful completion of over 300 executive search assignments for high-level finance, accounting, and information technology executives.
Kathryn Barley
Kathryn Barley is the VP of Technology for Lawyer's Staffing, Inc. Prior to joining our team, she worked in various levels of technical management for large employers in the Richmond area reflecting a variety of industries including retail, insurance, staffing, and government. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the College of William and Mary. She recently completed her 12 year term as an Executive Board member for the Sheltering Arms Hospital and continues to cook monthly for the Friends of the Homeless. She enjoys time with her family, traveling, cooking, reading, music, and volunteering for local charities and community organizations.
