Nurse Practitioner needed to work for a non-public special education programs in Maryland to evaluate students’ mental health needs and provide prescriptions and medication management. These education programs focus on servicing students with emotional disabilities and/or Autism spectrum disorders. Every student has a documented disability and therefore an IEP. 

There are approximately 10 students per location and there are 3 locations. The locations are in Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford Counties. The rotation schedule would involve being at each school once a week. Schedule would be on the school calendar so from late August through mid-June and would include at least one day per school in the month of July. 

Salary would be between $125 -$150/hr based on experience, and would be 6 hours a day for 3 days a week. The right candidate could take all three schools and it would equate to 30K – 35K per school. This position has the potential to become full-time with this program.
