Job Description :
RN needed for temp to hire position with great local nonprofit group. Position will be providing intensive community treatment services to eligible clients who struggle with persistent and sever psychiatric symptoms.
Duties of Position:
Providing easements to assess the needs, strengths & preferences of the individual. Case management. Nursing. Support for the wellness self-management, including the development and implementation of individual recovery plans, symptoms assessments and recovery education. Administration and monitoring of prescribed medications, substance abuse assessment and treatment for individual with a co-occurring diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse. Handling mobile crisis assessment, interventions to prevent or resolve potential crises and admission to and discharge from psychiatric hospitals.
Summary of Required Skills:
RN shall have one year of experience in the provision of mental health services to adults with serious mental illness. Knowledge and effective use of interventions for both physical and psychiatric health symptoms with 'At Risk' individuals who struggle with daily functioning. Experience in working with individuals in developing person-centered treatment plans and a strong ability to track and update treatment plans as regulated by governing authorities and as needed when indicated by the client through observed behaviors and/or communications.
Pay rate will DOE & position will be FT hours, Monday - Friday.
